Check the product. Know the source.
What to check before buying a supplement online: seller identity, batch details, packaging and the manufacturer’s own verification guidance.
By VitaZoon · Updated 3 November 2026Look beyond an authenticity claim
Look for a clearly identified seller, a working support route and understandable return terms. Ask for the exact pack, batch and expiry details when they are missing. A product photo or a low price alone does not establish where an item came from.
VitaZoon is the retail brand operated by PREASY ECOMMERCE - FZCO in Dubai. Contact care@vitazoon.com for product questions. We do not describe ourselves as an authorized distributor or claim independent lab testing without supporting evidence.
Use the manufacturer’s checks for your region
Optimum Nutrition explains that packaging and verification features can vary between regions. Its support guidance asks customers with concerns for the batch number, expiry details and clear product photos. Compare with the official guidance for your version.
MuscleTech provides verification guidance and a counterfeit-enquiry form. The company also notes that some genuine products do not carry its authentication hologram. A missing sticker, by itself, is not enough to decide whether a product is counterfeit.
Keep the evidence if something looks wrong
Keep your order record and take photos of the pack, seal, batch number and expiry details. Contact the seller and manufacturer with those details before opening or using a product you are concerned about. They can review the specific item; this checklist cannot authenticate it remotely.
